I have been falling deeper and deeper in love with my God(the God of the bible) over the past couple of months and words cannot explain what my heart is feeling. This morning I was reading “The Secrets of the Secret Place” by Bob Sorge (for the second time) and I had to stop and share with you what touched me.
In this particular chapter, there was a scripture reference to Hosea chapter two that stuck waaaaaay out to me. Prior to reading anything this morning I prayed, “God don’t let me lose my hunger for righteousness and for you”.
When I read Hosea chapter two, the verse above touched my heart. God answered me with a covenant of love. He will always be my husband (whether single or married) showing me righteousness, justice, unfailing love and compassion. He answered me through His word and I am forever grateful.
Who wouldn’t serve a God like that?
