Gooooood morning Peeps!!
Several years ago I started a group called Real Talk Singles in effort to bring single people together to just have fun. I have been single for a little over 20 years and it has been a journey. I had a desire to see singles come together to encourage each other, laugh, and just have fun. Needless to say, single people got on my friggin nerves. Lmbo!!! Women made comments like, “How many men are going to be there?” or others would say “Why should I come out if I can’t get with anybody”? Men where scared to show up,in fear of being the only guy in the group.(go figure) I was really fed up with peoples narrow minded commentary, so I shut it down.
SHAME ON ME, HUH?
Since then, the issue with single men and women is still the same…. They don’t know how to truly enjoy the journey. On my birthday this year I launched The Singles Gift Club Game night. Once a month I’m inviting singles to come out for an hour of fun and games. I have a love for people in general but my passion is to help singles enjoy this season.
Singleness is a precious gift to be enjoyed and boy howdy, I have learned to enjoy it. I will be adding a page to this blog soon called “Ask Ms. T”, which will deal with all things SINGLE. Stay tuned and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support.
