THE POWERFUL FORCE OF JOY

I think I was born full of joy and excitement. I love life and love to spread the joy to all I come in contact with in one form or another. However, I remember some seasons of my life where joy was not a part of my make up. These were some of the most confusing and dark time of my journey called life. As I was thinking about those times and a scripture came to mind, which is Hebrews 12:2. The latter part of the scripture says,” …for the joy that was set before Him, Christ endured the cross”.

JESUS HAD A FOCUSED JOY

Jesus knew He had to endure a painful death but because of the joy (I believe that joy was our salvation) that was set before Him, He had the will and strength to endure. It was that joy that gave Him the power to be obedient unto death among other things. Joy gave him power to go through the process.

The word of God also says in Nehemiah 8:10, that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Peeps, we can’t make it in this world without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We need His joy to survive in our world.

His joy is powerful.

His joy is never ending.

His joy will give you strength.

His joy is available to you for the asking.

Much love,

Beautiful Black Cat

I absolutely love putting it in writing! When I write I release a part of me that was hidden from the world. For years I would only write to help me navigate through this thing called life, however, writing has become my closest friend. I am a self-published author with a desire to help people know there is always HOPE. Hope for a better tomorrow, hope to live another day, and HOPE TO KNOW LIFE DOES GET BETTER. To my readers, I say "Live FREE and Die WELL" (Quote from the Rock in the movie Scorpion King~lol). Hope is always found in letting go.
