THE BUTT UGLY SOUL

I know some of you are probably saying, “What in the world is she talking about” and that’s ok. When you think of someone’s soul, what comes to your mind? I’ve heard people make comments like, “Oh she has a beautiful soul” or He’s rotten to the core. Either way, people are speaking about the matters of the heart.

I recently was in a situation where I was listening to someone’s soul spew out of their mouth. I wanted to be there just as an ear, however, what I heard was a bit too much. I heard hatred, disappointment, malice, bitterness, and unforgiveness. Their soul was marred quite bad. It made me think about the root of the problem and all I could think of was unforgiveness.

When someone is unable to let go of hurts and pains caused by another, those things I just mention begin to fester and grow. Their souls become “butt ugly” without them even realizing it. Bitterness and unforgiveness will kill a person from the inside out. It’s a stronghold for most because people don’t want to let go and move forward.

Self-examination starts TODAY, how’s your soul doing? Are you on the road towards total healing or are you stuck in the plains of unforgiveness? Is bitterness your comfort and malice your closet friend? If so, your soul is butt ugly and you need to change.

No one in this world owes you anything, you owe yourself. You owe yourself freedom from those things I previously mentioned. You owe yourself the right to be mad but not the right to hold onto unforgiveness. I’m not saying it’s easy however what I am saying is it’s possible to accomplish.

All I ask is that you begin the process and ask God to help you clean up your soul so you can live in true peace.

Praying for you all really, really.

Much love,

Beautiful Black Cat

I absolutely love putting it in writing! When I write I release a part of me that was hidden from the world. For years I would only write to help me navigate through this thing called life, however, writing has become my closest friend. I am a self-published author with a desire to help people know there is always HOPE. Hope for a better tomorrow, hope to live another day, and HOPE TO KNOW LIFE DOES GET BETTER. To my readers, I say "Live FREE and Die WELL" (Quote from the Rock in the movie Scorpion King~lol). Hope is always found in letting go.
