Here I come to save the daaaay!! NOT! What happens when Superman needs help? What happens when your superpowers run low? Where do you go? Who do you turn to?

Living this life has its ups and downs that we all must navigate through. We have times of victory and times of defeat but what do you do when it seems like your defeats are numerous?

You change your focus.

As a single mom, I have had my share of defeated days and cried A LOT. I remember a particular time when the struggle was real, and I just wanted to give up. Suddenly something on the inside of me clicked, I needed to change my focus. I needed to focus on my victories and not my failures.

When your superpowers feel like they are draining, take a couple of hours by yourself and refocus. Even in hard times, there is always a light somewhere, you just have to look for it. To all my modern-day Superman, you have the power to overcome. Just take some time to realize it.

You’re stronger than you think.

Today is a new day and you survived yesterday.

Tomorrow is uncertain so no need to worry.

Live as if your life depended on it because it does.

Love freely because it will come back to you.

Forgive quickly so you can live free.

Be the superhero that is needed today because you are needed more than you know. (ask Lois Lane~lol)

Much love,

Beautiful Black Cat

I absolutely love putting it in writing! When I write I release a part of me that was hidden from the world. For years I would only write to help me navigate through this thing called life, however, writing has become my closest friend. I am a self-published author with a desire to help people know there is always HOPE. Hope for a better tomorrow, hope to live another day, and HOPE TO KNOW LIFE DOES GET BETTER. To my readers, I say "Live FREE and Die WELL" (Quote from the Rock in the movie Scorpion King~lol). Hope is always found in letting go.
