Putting the pen to paper isn’t always easy for me to do because of straight up fear. I wrote a book called The CHOICE which detailed the events leading up to aborting my unborn child. It took me years to complete because I didn’t want anyone to know my dark secret. I didn’t want to tell that story to anyone. But God saw fit to use my story to save the lives of unborn children who have no voice. I shared my book with a young lady who was contemplating aborting her unborn child and was in the valley of decision. I talked to her, prayed for her and waited to see if she would even read the book. I ran into her about a week later and said “So what did you decide?” She flat out said” I read your book and decided to keep my baby”
I wanted to just cry because God showed me that my story can be used to help someone else. At this point in my life I’m not afraid to tell my story… My story of rebellion. My story of domestic violence. My story of insecurity and rejection. My story of divorce after a divorce. My story of love that hasn’t been found. Yes all my stories must be shared because somewhere someone needs to know there is hope.
So what’s YOUR story?
Much love,
Beautiful Black Cat
